iCloud large file (around 9GB) download fail

I have been trying to download a 9GB file from iCloud via web browser.

Tried many many times but none succeeded.

It typically failed around 8.x GB saying either Network Error or Server problem.

I tried w/ many different browsers, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, etc.

No idea how to resolve the issue and will appreciate if someone knows how to resolve.

Files causing Low Storage I attempted to download a large file from my icloud however the download had an error occured part way through the download, rendering it unusable. Consequently, a large size of storage space (about 7 Gbs) were occupied under “Other System Data”. I was wondering how I might clear up this cached data, so I can attempt to download the file again. Trying to download huge file from icloud I have a huge file over 200GB in my icloud. (It is a final cut library) I'm trying for months to download it to my mac but it never works. I tried through wireless and cable. Both doesn't work. Sometimes it continues to download up to 50GB or so and suddenly the downloading process stops. Sometimes it says it's downloaded successfully but it's only 5GB or so and when I try to expand it, it says it is inappropriate file format. Is there any way I could download this file? It's a very important file. I would've never let it uploaded to icloud if I had known it would be so hard to download it back.

Can't get large files in and out of iCloud and the Files app "Upload Error" that's all I see lately. Internet connection is solid, files used to upload just fine, all of a sudden all multi GB files just say "Waiting..." for about a minute and then "Upload Error". In this case 4.46GB file, have 10GB free on the iPad, 8GB free in iCloud. My next thought is export the file from Files into Amazon Drive or Dropbox. The progress bar is so slow it looks like it'll take an entire day despite my 50Mbps internet connection. But any export like this isn't a background task, it's a foreground can't turn off the screen or switch apps kinda thing or it'll stop. Next through, get the files out of the file share section of iTunes to my laptop and send them where I need to from there. What? The FILES app doesn't share FILES in the FILES section of iTunes? Who decided that crucial feature of a file sharing app wasn't needed?

As per this article Show or hide filename extensions on Mac - Apple Support

When you rename a file or folder, don’t change its filename extension, or you may no longer be able to open the file with the app that was used to create it. To be warned before you change an extension, select “Show warning before changing an extension” in the Advanced pane of Finder preferences.

If you want to change a file’s format, use the app you used to create the file. For example, TextEdit can convert a document from plain text format (.txt) to a rich text format (.rtf), and Preview can convert many types of graphics files.

I have ample amount of spaces more than 100GB and I also tried multiple Mac devices.

How much free storage is on your Mac? The download may fail, ion you are running out of free storage on your system drive.
