Hi,

According to the specifications at https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-envy-6455e-all-in-one-printer, the HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer supports the driverless AirPrint technology (in About AirPrint - Apple Support, only the HP Envy Pro 6455 All-in-One Printer is mentioned). This means that it should be possible to add this printer without having to install additional drivers from the printer manufacturer, if the printer and the computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network (router).

Add a printer on Mac - Apple Support

If necessary, try resetting the printing system.

If there is a problem with AirPrint, you may also want to try the following power-cycling sequence:

Power off the router, the printer, the computer, and all other devices (iPhones, et cetera). Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the computer. Finally, power on all other devices.
