If my child has an Apple ID that they used for the iPad, do we need a new Apple ID for a new phone for the same child?

If a child has 2 devices, a iPad and a iphone does he need 2 Apple ID’s?

Hello,

Only one Apple ID is required for all devices of that person. One Apple ID can be used for multiple devices like iPhones, iPad’s, mac’s etc. Not only is this easier for a user to setup but it allows the same iMessages, FaceTime and purchases to be on all your Apple devices.

Enjoy the devices!
