Delete Mail app
My Mail app keeps interfering with my Outlook mail app in my Macbook Pro. Is there a way to delete it completely or, at least, deactivate it? Thank you!

Thank you! I've done it several times, choosing the app over and over again. I doesn't work, neither for me (Mac mini, Mac OS High Sierra, Outlook 16.16.27) nor for my boss (MacBook Pro, Big South, Outlook 16.51).
Try this, select the file on the Desktop, press Command+i. Check what it says under "Open with:". If it says Mail, change it to Outlook.
Maybe you are overlooking a step:
Change the default web browser or email app on your Mac - Apple Support
Open Mail > Preferences > General. Set the Default email reader: to Outlook.
Thank you! But it doesn´t work. I pick any mail from, for example, the desktop, and it keeps opening with Mail. When I control-click it, Mail continues appearing as the Default mail app.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! So simple, so magical. Thank you very much from both of us.
You're both welcome.
