Cannot save Office documents on Mac since upgrade to BigSur 11.4

I cannot save office files into my Mac.


I can still save into OneDrive but not into the Mac.


I uninstalled Office and installed it again but it doesn't fix the problem.


I have also double-checked that the folders I am trying to save into have the right permissions.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.4

Not exactly what I asked. OneDrive and iCloud Drive have a web portal where you can upload files. Those do not exist on your Mac. They can also synchronize folders on your Mac to those services, so the files exist in both locations.

Have you tried to save a file everywhere inside your home?
