Mac doesn’t start screen say press any key or wait and just repeats the cycle over and over no start

Mac will not start screen just repeats press any key and try’s to start then back to press any key screen

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

Hold Option key when it restarts, does that show any boot options?

Power down if need be.

MacBook Pro won’t finish the start up process I have tried every trouble shooting key combination when I turn my Mac on, but it still does not complete the start up process. I can see the Apple logo and the progress bar, it gets half way through the progress bar and then takes me to a dark blue/gray screen with nothing on it and just sits there until I turn it off. The only key combination that has gotten me anywhere is Option D, which tests my hardware…and passes with flying colors. But, I can not get my Mac to turn on! Can someone please be so kind as to help me figure something out quickly? Thank you!

Mac won’t start Our Mac won't startup but only dispays the apple logo and progress bar. I tried shutting down, and restarted continuously holding the start button, but no menu ever appears. What to do?
