Apple Watch 3 reset fails

Trying to set up an Apple Watch 3, after resetting because it was too full for software update. In the app it says I can’t do the software update because I’m not connected to the internet. Which I most certainly am. Goes around in circles with no end. Have reinstalled the app, hard reset the phone. Any ideas?

Hello:) Take a look at this info below:

Try this restart ..

Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider.
Drag the slider to turn off your device.
After your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

If that doesn't help, try the suggestions here > If your Apple Watch doesn't respond or won't turn on -

If nothing there helped, make an appointment at an Apple Genius Bar > http://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/
