Apple Watch - Can't Download Spotify for Offline Listening

I have the newest Apple Watch and premium Spotify account. All software has been updated on both my iphone and watch. Still can't download songs from Spotify - the option isn't available on the Spotify dropdown menu (the three dots) on my phone. Any advice would be helpful - this is the sole reason I bought the watch.
