Problem with camera - iphone 12 pro max

Hello, I recently noticed a problem on my Iphone 12 pro max.

When I take photos with this phone (usually when it is dark, or artificial lighting) a green dot appears on my photos. You can see this dot from the camera app as it flashes, and later on in the photo taken. In addition, this dot always appears in the same place, the bottom right corner. If the photo is taken during the day - there is no such problem. Could someone please tell me if this is normal?

Assuming it is in exactly the same place:-

If the dot moves with the photo as you rotate the phone to landscape the dot is probably on the sensor.

If it stays put its the screen

Either way I would go for a warranty repair. The camera is this phone’s signature feature.

Ok so if you can see it on another device it looks like a sensor problem.

Ser if you can print off some examples to take or send with it you should have a good case.

This is naturally different from green dots caused by lens reflections of point light which are never In the same place.

as I tilt the phone to the horizontal position, the dot cannot be seen

Can you view the photo in a Mac to check if it is on there?

This dot is also visible. I noticed that it is visible when the phone is in the upright position and when night mode is on.
