I shot myself speaking in front of a green screen. In the clip my skin colour looks natural. But as soon as I add a background of any kind in iMovie my skin goes a very unnatural pink.
This has never happened before. I often shot with a green screen and add in background later. My skin never changes tone or colour.
Why now with this clip? And any idea how to fix it?
I'm using iMovie 10.2.3 on a 2020 MacBook Pro.

It might be a corrupt preference or perhaps the issue is confined to just this one project.
Try deleting preferences. Open iMovie while holding down the Option and Command keys and select to delete preferences in the box that appears. iMovie will open in a new library. Reopen your old library to get back to your projects. Deleting preferences is a safe procedure that will not cause data loss or disruption to your project.
If no luck, try creating a new project and doing your green screen in the new project. See if the skin tones are correct.
Another thing that you can try is using the Skin Tone Balance feature in iMovie. Click on the link below for a help menu explanation of how the Skin Tone Balance feature works:
