Suddenly my time machine has ceased backing up. It backs up to a 1T G/Drive, and has worked consistently for months. Now I receive a message that says
I cannot determine why this has happened or now to fix.
There appears to be plenty of room on the back-up drive:

This didn't solve my problem. I continued to work away, and found that somehow the 500 GB storage on my iMac was full. After I solved the problem there and established many more available GB's, Time Machine was able to start working again.
