I have the Apple Watch Workout App. Do I need Apple Fitness+

I don't know if this has been asked before and tried searching but there are a lot of entries, but nothing specific on my topic.

I have the workout app on my apple watch plus I'm still in my free-trial for Fitness+. I only use the Outdoor Cycling workout on the Workout app. I see the benefits of Fitness+ but not sure if I need it since it has a lot of pre-recorded workouts. That's great for many people, I just don't use it.

Can I still use the Outlook Cycling workout in the workout app if I don't have Fitness+ and have it cross over to my health app or do I need to have Fitness+?

Thanks

Michael

You will be able to use the Fitness app and record any exercises you do. What you will not be able to do if you cancel your Fitness+ account is get the instructor lead workouts.
