Repeated input from pressed keys

My keyboard was acting weird over the past month.

Repeated input from pressed keys - for example, I press x, and 2 x's show up.

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

System Preferences >> Keyboard. Adjust the " Repeat Key " and "Delay until Repeat" sensitivity
