My MacBook Pro has taken to randomly restarting when two-finger scrolling on the trackpad.
Not every time I use the function, but sometimes 4 or 5 times over a couple of hours, sometimes goes days without.
If I use a mouse, then no problem, but who wants to keep moving from trackpad to mouse each time they want to scroll up and down!
Anyone have an idea what's going on/how to fix it?
Kernel Panics are predominately caused by hardware faults or faulty third-party kernel extensions.

You neglect to say what exact Mac this is...(?) There are some known issues with trackpad cable faults, especially the 2015 MBP, some 2014 for example.
