Brother Printer HL5370DW & Big Sur

3 of us in the household have new MacBks, all upgraded to Big Sur. My Brother laser printer will not work consistently over the network. I had to do a reinstall of Big Sur and then upgraded the drivers. Was this a mistake? Does my MacBookPro 16" not work with drivers? Should I remove them? What exactly is AirPrint?
