Why does find my iPhone show a different location to where I am, it’s nearby but not my address?

We've got a great guide to share with you that explains how the location of your device is determined. Since it may use a combination of "GPS, Bluetooth, crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspots, and cellular towers to determine your location," the location may be approximate.
