Can you pair your IPhone with your Mac in Keynote live using Bluetooth instead over a wi-if network?

Don’t have a wi-if network in some settings.

Keynote remote via Bluetooth I’m wanting to use my iPad mini as a remote for my Keynote presentation in my iPad Pro. Neither device is data capable. I can do what I want as long as there is a wifi network available. However, I want to be able to do it without WiFi, using Bluetooth only. When I turn WiFi off on both devices, I can’t get them to recognize each other and, therefore, can’t pair them.

Using iPhone as a remote in keynote Allow remote control option does not appear to be present in newest version of Keynote. It is not where it has been before on either my iPad or iPhone. Does anyone have a solution?

Keynote Remote requires a wi-fi connection to work.
