Hello can anyone help me figure out how to make my MacBook faster? I tried deleting some things and clean it up but it is still rather slow. If you can dumb your advice down , that would be greatly appreciated :D
Below is my Etrecheck report.
Macs running El Capitan or later benefit from 6GB or more of RAM.you have only 4GB installed.
You could go as large as 8GB in each of the two slots for a total of 16GB. Above 8GB is a diminishing return for ordinary (non-editing) uses.

The hard drive is most likely failing or worn out. Replacing the hard drive with an SSD will greatly improve performance.
FYI, the Battery is showing "Service Battery" which indicates macOS has identified a hardware failure with the Battery.
