internet problems after using migration assistant

Used Migration Assistant for my new MacBook Pro. After 24 hours, all looks good: BUT, it will not connect to the internet (wired or wireless). Cannot figure out why not. HELP!!

Macs will not connect using Migration Assistant I'm in a quandary. I'm trying to migrate my 2011 Mac to a "new" 2017 machine I just bought. Both machines were updated to the latest OS. I followed the instructions on the Web using Migration Assistant an all went well for about 15 hours when I noticed that the migration was stuck with 4 hours to go. I had used a J45-to-J45 Ethernet connection between the machines. The new Mac said "none" for connection. I have tried everything. I have disconnected and reconnected the Ethernet connection. I have gone in and edited the setup for Networks to be sure I had the right connection on both machines. I have gone back to wifi on both machines. Nada. These machines refuse to connect using Migration Assistant no matter what I do. Any suggestions appreciated.

internet connection I am setting up a new Mac Studio. After using a time machine backup from prior Intel Mac, it does not connect to the internet by WiFi or Ethernet. Prior time machine back up was NOT Monterey, but Big Sur. The Mac Studio sees the internet on WiFi and direct ethernet (network preferences) in but Safari and App Store it doesn't see an internet connection! Other computers etc on same network have internet connections. I have restarted it without help. I tried to start in safe mode but it wouldn't start up there, only the usual startup screen. I held the power button on the back of the computer. What do I do next?

Network connected, but no internet I have a new MBP. Upon completion of migration, the new MBP connects to my WiFi, but not the internet. All other laptops in the house do have internet via my WiFi network.

FINALLY, booted up in Safe mode and reset some Comcast and Apple passwords. Shutdown followed by regular startup and internet (wired and wireless) are WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
