internet problems after using migration assistant

Used Migration Assistant for my new MacBook Pro. After 24 hours, all looks good: BUT, it will not connect to the internet (wired or wireless). Cannot figure out why not. HELP!!

FINALLY, booted up in Safe mode and reset some Comcast and Apple passwords. Shutdown followed by regular startup and internet (wired and wireless) are WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
