My apple watch does not have enough space to do the latest update. I have a 4.8 gb of capacity and have 2.2 gb available. The update requires 3.1 GB of space. I only have one installed app which is activity tracker. What am I doing wrong?

This is about my apple watch. I don't appear to have enough space to accomodate the latest update. See my earlier note for more information. Thank you
