High Sierra upgrade on iMac

I would like to upgrade mz late 2009 imac to High Sierra, but OS upgrade from Apple site sais the install application of High Sierra is damaged and can't be used to install mac OS. Can anyone help how I can do the upgrade?

Choose Applications from the Finder's Go menu, throw the installer away, and download another copy.
