Mac OS Big Sur - Missing "Edit" Option on Notifications

Okay - I took the plunge. By in large I'm happy with Big Sur, it must have fixed some problem I didn't know I had and everything launches much fast. I want to add functions or "Widgets" to the Notification Center, like the Calendar but the "Edit" button is missing form the bottom of that menu. It just isn't there.

Desktop Notifications Not Working I'm using Big Sur on a Mac Mini M1 model. I no longer receive any sort of desktop notifications for any apps I use. No Skype notifications, no browser notifications, no calendar notifications, Apple News no longer pops up and anything else I have tried. I need my notifications to work for the work that I do. I've rebooted my computer and gone through my settings multiple times. I'm literally about to lose my damn mind. I do not have "Do Not Disturb" turned on FYI. I know there is something I am missing but I can not find it. Here is a screenshot of my settings for my calendar, surely this should work. If anyone could shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it :)

MacOS Monterey 12.4 Notification slide doesn't show Today/Notification tabs I seem to have turned something off that I would like to have back. When I click the date on the top right of my menu bar the notifications slide out from the right. How to do get the Today and Notifications tab back. It seems to be stuck on Notifications only. I've tried searching but I probably not searching the correct terms. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Michael

That is not Notification Center... click on the date to open Notification Center:

That's the Control Center panel. Click the time.
