Text messages

On one of my contacts has a little half moon by her picture, I don’t get notifications when she sends a text... how can I fix it?

unable to see messages from one contact in my message feed and do not receive message notifications when they text me One of my contacts, which is a business contact, does whose messages do not show up on my message feed nor notifications. There is a bubble with her initials at the top of the message feeds, which I can click on and see her messages. I tried deleting the contact and reinstalling it; Checking to make sure that the contact was not blocked, rebooting my phone, and checking messages in settings for privacy settings. I give up! Please help!

Message app - message thread with your friend - click on her name at the top - click info - uncheck hide alerts.
