Photos not syncing with iPhone/iPad

My Mac used to sync photos OK, i.e., pictures taken on my phone would soon show up in Photos on my Mac. That no longer happens. I've looked at all the settings, and can't figure it out. Note that I use iCloud Drive.

Photos not syncing from iPhone to Mac Recently I noticed that my photos are syncing from my phone to my Mac. They do sync to my iPad. I checked and they are being stored in iCloud just not going into the photos app on Mac. iCloud is set to sync to my Mac. Help!

Some Photos not syncing to iCloud I imported some photos into the macOS (version 10.14.6) Photos app . For some reason, those photos are not syncing to iCloud and do not show up on my iPhone 12 (OsX 14.6). iCloud Photos option is ON in macOS Photos and also ON in the settings for Photos on the iPhone. I also checked on my icloud.com account and the imported photos are not there either. Why ? Thanks for your help.

Photos from my mac won't sync to iCloud but my iPhone worked fine Pretty much as the title suggests. I haven't ever stored photos in my iCloud before but decided to start. My phone and mac use the same iCloud account and the photos from my phone uploaded fine and continue to sync when I take new ones but none of the photos on my laptop have synced. I have the iCloud checkbox checked in the Photos app settings, I've tried restarting my laptop, reconnecting to the network and updating my software but nothing has worked so far.
