Hi I’m having an issue where when I do an indoor run on a treadmill, the distance is not properly calibrating. If I speed the tread up or down, my 1 mile time is always about the same. I tried resetting the workout data and then reset my indoor run calibration data and it’s still pretty off. Please help.

The Apple Watch will only calibrate outdoors. You can reset your calibration data but you'll need to calibrate outdoors again before it will work correctly indoors.

Does the calibration have to be a run outdoors or can it be a walk?
As the instructions state in step three you can start an outdoor walk or run workout. It just needs to be at least 20 minutes.
