Setting up a replacement iphone and I'm trying to add my phone number via Settings > Phone > My Number. When I input my number and press Save on the top right corner, nothing happens.

It's a new phone and I was given a new sim card to put in. I guess this is something I should contact my carrier about.
Hello naomi-grace and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty with the phone number being used by your iPhone.
Have you swapped out the physical SIM? If your carrier does not support eSIM, the number assigned to the device would come from the SIM.
