I just received an email saying my iCloud account has been locked and would be suspended if I did not respond in hours. This was after downloading a GoPro app. I don’t trust the email. What should I do?

Suspicious email saying my iCloud would be frozen. What do I do? How can I tell if real or scam? Happened right after I used Grandsons GoPro and downloaded a video fro it to my iCloud account and photos.

It is a scam. If there was a problem you would be notified when attempting to log in, including when logging into this forum. Also see: Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support
