I bought my apple silicone case for roughly about a month before i dropped it once and the bottom ripped. Tried to get it replacement for it but was told that it was impossible and i would have to pay full price for a new one. Really quite disappointed in the service recovery but was wondering if anyone has any advice or should i just ignore apple related products all together in the future?

Normally damage to accessories is not covered by the warranty other than manufacturing defects:
Apple One (1) Year Limited Warranty
However, if you go to another location, and ask nicely, maybe they will help you:
