I am on a late 2013 MacBook Pro retina, and I just even cannot download Mac OS Big Sur.

What can I do to Install Mac OS Big Sur on my MacBook Pro Retina, late 2013?

when I go to the App Store and try to download Mac OS Big Sur, I get the message that It is'nt available, with no mor einformations.

In the files of compatible machine, it is Said that my Mac is compatible to download and Install the new Mac OS Big Sur.

In the Software update mode, I get the message that Catalina is the newest software to update...

So, what can I do?

Should I wait and count with an update to Mac OS Big Sur from Apple?

Please let me know...

Well you are not clear on which exact Mac is this < MacBook Pro Retina, late 2013> the 13' have been put on hold until some issues are resolved.

supportedBoardIDs – Mac-189A3D4F975D5FFC was removed from macOS Big Sur.app 11.0.1 (20B50)

This means that for now you will not be able to install macOS Big Sur on your 2013 or 2014 13″ MacBook Pro until Apple sorts through some associated issue.

To verify you can see your boardID from the Terminal.app copy & paste:

ioreg -l | awk -F\" '/board-id/ { print $4 }'

Hello, that's it wright: I'm on a Late 2013 Macbook Pro 13' Retina.
And yes, I can find, in the Terminal App, the supportedBoardIDs – Mac-189A3D4F975D5FFC.
I understand that I must wait for some update from App to correct this issue...
But if not know, then when?
Thank you

The HT above < https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211242 >

Clearly states:

"This article will be updated as more information becomes available. Published Date: December 09, 2020 "

So you will have to wait like the rest of us for some update on the issue.
