Missing trash folder in Big Sur Apple Mail

I have a dozen emails. Sometimes I mistakenly delete emails and need to pull them back out of the trash. The problem is, that I cannot find the global trash on Big Sur. In fact, I can't find any of the trash except for the iCloud trash.

Can you help?

Missing Trash Sub Folders In Mail I have a Trash folder On My Mac. It used to have three sub-folders beneath it such as iCloud, and Midco (my provider). Well suddenly the sub-folders are gone. It may have been since I recently loaded BigSur, but I'm not sure. The problem is that all of my trashed emails are missing and I cannot find them. Are there any bugs in BigSur or what may be my issue? If I do a search for known missing emails in my 'All Mailboxes' mailbox it will find the missing emails and it will say in the header that they are in 'Trash - Midco'. That trash bin is nowhere to be found. How can I get my sub Trash mailboxes back?

Apple mail trash fold missing In Apple Mail, I set the trash folder to "Deleted Messages" (under account preferences) but they actually go into a folder named "Trash". They do not go into the "Deleted Messages" folder. The Trash folder does not appear on my mac, but it shows up in the Trash folder on my iPhone or the iCloud webmail interface. If I go to the Favorites drop-down, I can show the folder "Trash - iCloud", but the deleted messages don't go there either. I previously saw a post that said to disable iCloud mail on my Mac, restart the Mac and then re-enable iCloud mail. But that did not work either. I am using Monterey 12.5

Click on the + sign to the right of Favorites and select trash from the pulldown menu. That will put it back.
