Two different sets of airpods

Can I have 2 different sets of airpods work as the same set in a case, i lost my left airpod and was wondering if i get a same generation airpod will they work as one set? Paying for a used airpod seems a lot better then the 70$ for a new one if this works.

Hello ChristianN9946,

It sounds like you are considering buying a used AirPod to replace your missing one. You’re in the right place, we’d be glad to assist in seeking a solution.

As long as you purchase the same generation, this will work. You can follow the steps here:

Set up your replacement AirPods or charging case

Take care.
