macbook update

my macbook version is 10.10.5, and I am trying to update my iPhone thru iTunes on my macbook and it said it requires OS X 10.11.4 or later. I tried to update my macbook thru software update but it always tells me that my macbook is up to date!!!

I need to fix this as soon as possible please.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which MacBook Pro model you have, download El Capitan, High Sierra, or Catalina through the links provided; they're full-version upgrades and won't appear in the Updates list.
