what does unknown error occurred (4000) mean when updating to iOS 14.1 using iTunes on Windows 10?

I'm using iTunes on Windows 10 to try to update my iPhone 7 to iOS 14.1 (from 14.0.1) After the extraction of the update software on the Windows PC occurs, and the backup of my iPhone 7 completes, I get the following iTunes error:

The iPhone "xxxxxx iPhone 7" could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (4000).
