Help switching to older iPhone 6
I’m laid off and my phone is broke. I have an old iPhone 6. I understand I can’t do a restore to backup because my current backup is newer than the IPhone 6 software version. What are my options?

Where was your backup iCloud or iTunes.
If it was on iCloud you can get most of the data on your old iPhone because....
iCloud backup doesn’t include information that are synced and stored in iCloud, like Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Mail, Notes, Voice Memos, shared photos, iCloud Photos*, Health data, call history, and files you store in iCloud Drive.
*-If you had turned on iCloud Photos, your content is automatically stored in iCloud.
