Issue pairing existing watch to new phone...

What happens if my watch thinks it is still paired to a phone I no longer have? Now the watch won’t open unless I open that phone so I can’t unpair it and pair to my new phone..

On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Go to Find Iphone.

Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase Apple Watch.

Select Next until the device is erased.

Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
