Apple Watch pairing

My Apple Watch is connected to a previous phone that I was not able to unpair it from before the screen broke. Now I can’t get the watch to pair with my new phone. What do I do?

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.

Then tap on this link;
