Resetting Screen Time Passcode

So I don’t know the password for my Screen Time. I go to reset it and it gives you the option to reset it with your Apple ID if you click forgot passcode. The problem is it’s not accepting my Apple ID and password. I know the email and password and it accepts it anywhere else I put it in, but not within the screen time function. I type it in then it just counts it as another wrong attempt of my screen time passcode. Anyone know why this wouldn’t be accepting my correct Apple ID and password?
