i notice my battery running low faster than normal it is not lasting a full day. i even shut more applications and still running out of battery before the day is done.

It's normal after installing a watchOS update that battery life will decrease while background operations take place. It should go back to normal within 48-72 hours.
If it does not, you can restart your Apple Watch or pair your Apple Watch to your iPhone again.
