How do I turn off restructions on an iPad so I can install apps?
I gave my old iPad (a mini 3) to my eight year old son. It's using iOS 12.4.8.
I left a few apps on the device for him to use, including Spotify. When I realized he could access any song he wanted, regardless of content, I removed Spotify and gave him SpotifyKids. Then I realized the Kids app requires a premium family account, which I don't have.
So now I want to reinstall Spotify. I updated the app via the App Store, but when I click Open, I get the message: "Restrictions Enabled. Certain apps, features, or services can't be seen or used when Restrictions are on. To use this app, turn Restrictions off."
I've looked through the forums, and the answers I've found all refer to an earlier version of Settings, when Restrictions were in the General menu. They no longer seem to be. How do I disable Restrictions long enough to install a couple of apps? Thank you.
