Battery runs down even when asleep since update to Catalina 10.15.6

Since updating to the 10.15.6 version, my brand new MacAir loses all battery charge even when asleep.

When placed in 'sleep' with cover closed the charge would hold for days. Now it is completely discharged by morning.

You have something active in the background even when your Mac is asleep which is draining the battery OR you are just not going into stand by mode.

Open system preferences and get into the Power Settings and under Power Adapter DISABLE Power Nap. See if that resolves the issue. If it does resolve the issue then we know that there is an activity running in the background that could be the culprit.
