I need assistance erasing my phone from find my iphone

If the phone isn't capable of coming on line and accessing the Internet, you can't erase the phone using Find My Phone. You can set it to erase if it does come on line.

Find My iPhone - Erase your device      

or

Find My Phone – Remove device.    

If you can't get the phone to turn on, you can't erase it or turn off Find My Phone.

Asurian requires the phone to be erased before they will replace it but the phone won't turn on so how do I erase it or turn off location?
