Airpods not connecting to Zoom app but working for other apps

My airpods are connecting to laptop but for some reason are not connecting when I use the Zoom app on the same laptop. Tried adjusting all possible settings on Zoom but had no luck.

Are others having this same issue? How can I fix it?

Static with Airpods Pro and Zoom When I use Zoom the sound glitches and eventually goes out. The airpods work on everything except zoom. I have disconnected and re-paired the airpods pro from my laptop. I also deleted and redownloaded zoom. The version of airpods is is 4E71.

Airpods and Zoom My airpods connect to my laptop fine and I can listen to music and videos through them. But as soon as I try and join a Zoom meeting the sound comes out of my laptop as if my airpods weren't connected.

Zoom is not an Apple product, best you ask the app developer on their website/forum for support.
