Why my phone won’t update.
trying to update my phone and says not able because it’s not connected to the internet and it is connected....

If you have a computer, you can update using that.
On windows, you'll need to download iTunes from the Microsoft Store. Simply click on the windows logo in the corner > type "Microsoft Store" into the search box, and click on the store. Then, search for iTunes, and download it.
On Mac, device management is done through Finder.
Connect your iPhone using the charging cable to the computer. Open the software, and there should be a popup to download and install the latest update. Follow the prompts, and install the update.
