It was running fine just a few days ago then all a sudden its been going very slow, has never happened to me i then downloaded Etre to check and it took nearly a hour to scan, as im typing this right now its very tedious due to the slowness

i might have done a woopsie and deleted "clean my mac" instead of uninstalling the correct way a couple months ago
im guessing now i have to manually look for the rest of the files in the library seeing as "clean my mac" is still being shown?
Good luck, I wouldn't begin to be able to tell you where to look for the 💩 that malware has scattered all over your system. You’re better off erasing the drive, reinstalling MacOS, reinstalling your apps from their original sources and your files from your known good backup. Another option is to reinstall the garbage software and then try to uninstall it per the developers instructions.
CMM can really mess up a mac.
