I have no idea what the problem but for some reason the back light of the keyboard will not turn on! I have researched all the methods but none of them seem to work! So I wanted to see if I could find the answer here.

If the Camera's light sensor in the display assembly is defective it can prevent the keyboard backlight from operating. Or perhaps the keyboard backlight has failed which could be an issue with either the Top Case/Keyboard Assembly or the Logic Board. You need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine your laptop to determine where the fault is.
