"Always On" doesn't work after updating the Apple Watch

I updated the operating system on my Watch 5, and now "Always On" doesn't work. It is turned on but the display stays black unless I press the crown (tapping the display doesn't work either). Any thoughts?

Check to see if you have theatre mode turned on.

Apple Watch Series 5 Display Turning off Hi, Since August 17th, 2020, my Series 5 watch's display does not stay on. Pressing on crown turns it on, but in about 15 seconds it turns off, and does not turn on even on rotating my wrist. Is anybody else facing this issue? This seems like a defect to me. Was there an update to Watch OS? Do I need to adjust any setting? Thanks.

Trouble with watch My watch doesn’t turn on, when I connect it to charger the apple sign appears then disappears every 2 sec or so. Any idea why this is happening?

Check to see if you have theatre mode turned on.
