Can is switch between Appple Photos libraries in final cut pro x?

I have several Photo's libraries and an effective way to import video's is through photos and audio tab in Final cut. however, final cut always opens up the photo library that i am not looking for, and i can't see how i can change how to open the library. Can someone help?

How can I get Photos slideshows to show the full length MP4 movie files instead of being cut off after 1 second? I just got a new iMac and am using Photos version 5.0 in Catalina. I'm coming from a very old 2.0 version of Photos. I've always interspersed still photos and short movie clips into my slideshow projects with no problems. In 5.0 my MP4 movie clips/files are only displaying the first 1 second or so before transitioning into the next file instead of showing the full length of the file. Is there a setting for this or did they just remove the capability of the app to include full length movie files in slide shows? This is a separate but somewhat related topic as well ---I also noticed that this current version of Photos doesn't seem to recognize AVCHD movie files? The old version had no problem with these but it seems as though I have to convert them now and then import them into Photos. I couldn't find topics related to these issues so any help would be greatly appreciated.

imported photos showing up in imports but not photos I'm using Photos 5.0 (161.0.120) on a MacBook Pro with Catalina 10.15.6 I just imported some jpeg files from a USB drive. They are showing up in the Photos app side-bar under Library --> Imports but they're not showing up in the side-bar under Library --> Photos Is there any way I can get them to appear in Library --> Photos with all my other photos? Just out of curiosity, why don't imported photos just go to Library --> Photos automatically? What's the advantage Apple perceived in designing the Photos app this way?

Can't drag pictures from "My Photos Stream" into Photos library Hi Folks, I'm prepping for the great Photo Stream shutdown. According to Apple's instructions, I'm supposed to drag all the pictures from the "My Photo Stream" album into the main Library. But their instructions aren't working. I select all, then drag, I get the number of selected but no green copy symbol. This is happening on both a brand new mac mini pro with the latest ventura, as well as an entirely different photo library and Mac running Catalina. Why isn't this working? Thanks.

You do as Luis suggests by holding the OPTION key when you launch Photos.

Any connected Photos Libraries will be shown in a list.

Only one Photos Library can be set at a time as System Photo Library for FCP X use:

You have to change it in Photos: open the library you want to use in FCP and click Use as System Photo Library.
