Mac mini 2018 cooling

I put a heating cooling pad on top of Mac mini with two aluminum heatsink plus a fan taking up the hot air created by the surface of the Mac mini...


is this a good idea? I work a lot with adobe and heavy apps.

Also check out the Sensor-Bases Fan Control when you get a chance. It is pretty easy to set up the Sensor-Based Control to run the fan at the default speed when the Mac Mini is running cool and then have it slowly start speeding up the fan as the temp. increases to maintain a safe temp.
