device isn't showing up on itunes

I have my Ipod Touch Generation 6 plugged into my computer and in the backup mode, but when I go to Itunes, it doesn't show up as plugged into the computer.

ipod touch not appearing in itunes? Hi, when I plug in my 5th gen ipod touch to my 2009 macbook pro (using macOS 10.11.6), my ipod shows up as a device in photos, but, it doesn't appear in iTunes. my ipod will not even show up in the left corner of itunes why can i see my ipod in the itunes window

ipod won't sync I plug my ipod into my computer. It shows as a connected device. Itunes does not sync anymore. Itunes updates are current and so is my computer. windows 10.
